QA/QC (Quality Control/Quality Assurance) :

Apart from the aspects of the Quality Management, an operational quality control is done at the level of each project and supported by the QA/QC department which has relations with the works management at the level of the main office.

1- Project level :
to ensure the quality of the products throughout the process of fulfilment and guarantee therefore the final quality, the company achieves different types of control. The controls and tests are fulfilled systematically in compliance with specified requirements of the clients and to normative requirements and internal rules.

We can mention 03 types of control :
   - Upon reception of the equipment.
   - During fulfilment.
   - At the end of fulfilment.

Methods used for the achievement of controls of surveillance of the product quality are defined in the Control Procedure and service testing.

Measures achieved are focused on all the phases of achievement, from the reception to the supply phase and to invoicing the client for the service or for the supplied product (in compliance to identified processes in the company). Some clear limits of acceptances are defined for each criteria controlled.

2- At the level of the main office (Works Department)
The Works Department through the department QA/QC has the responsibility of the validation of the whole operational process of the company (special or traditional).
With regard to control of quality, the department QA/QC has a role of reflexion, technical assistance and support of the project. The main aspects considered are:

  • Normative wake enabling to consider the external requirements (clients, regulations……).
  • Acquisition of all processes and techniques that can lead to improve efficiency of works by the go between of new techniques of achievement, by the introduction of new methods of work or by the use of better equipment.
  • Elaboration and updating of instructions operational modes in respect of methods of work( standards and specifications, exploitation of events cards, tender books,…).
  • Assistance of projects in the elaboration of plans to be executed and approval.
  • Assistance of projects in the field of welding and any possible study in the field of welding (new processes, homologation,…).
  • Elaboration in collaboration with the project of Service Quality Plan (SQP) when necessary.
  • Treatment of Events Cards (EC) and the loop of improvement of service quality.
  • The capitalisation of experience in this job is mainly through the function of the QA/QC Department and offices dealing with et des bureaux OPL (Scheduling, Preparation & Launching) of building sites. This enables the company to ensure the technical mastery and follow-up of works during the whole period of the project. The data exploitation, the feedback of information and report on building sites enable to maintain the continuous improvement dynamics.
